Tammy Stackhouse, Founder and Program Coordinator
Tammy grew up just around the corner from Magical Meadows on a farm where her love for horses began early. After high school, she began working in the medical field for 30 years. In 2007, she was approached by the family of a young man with autism asking if he could meet her horses. After researching the connection with horses and people with different abilities, she began the journey of what is now the Magical Meadows.
Tammy enjoys walks on the beach, boat rides, photographing sunsets, and spending time in nature. She is blessed to have one amazing son, Adam, who lives in the area.
Why Magical Meadows: “Growing up around horses, I was blessed to begin Magical Meadows to change the lives of those who need us most through therapeutic horseback riding.”
Michael Kuhn, Executive Director
Michael joined the Magical Meadows team as the Executive Director in July of 2024. Throughout his life, Michael has been an advocate for the disabilities community. Most recently he did that through his work in the non-profit and television news fields. Before coming to The Magical Meadows, Michael worked at Camp Red Cedar in Fort Wayne, where he served as the Development Director. Previously, Michael also worked at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne and WANE-TV. Michael has a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Telecommunications from Ball State University and a Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) from the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Michael is a Leesburg native and graduated from Warsaw Community High School where he met his wife of 10 years. Together, they have a son who occupies most of their free time. Michael loves spending time with his family, including his five siblings, mom and stepdad who all live and work in Kosciusko County.
Why Magical Meadows: “Faith and family are the two most important things in my life. The Magical Meadows brings those things together in a way that few places can while serving the community in unique and profound ways. It’s truly an honor to be a part of this incredible mission.”
Carl Adams, Board Chair
Carl Adams first visited the Magical Meadows in 2013 as a caretaker for two residents of Cardinal Services. After seeing the difference that Magical Meadow’s services made, his passion ignited, and he decided to become involved with the organization.
Carl volunteers with the day-to-day operations and he enjoys assisting the riders as they discover the joy of horseback riding.
Carl is a resident of New Paris and he enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and their six children and seven grandchildren.
Why Magical Meadows: “Having a love of horses for most my life, I enjoy witnessing the power of healing Magical Meadows brings to people of different abilities.”
Brent Bockelman, Vice Chair
Brent received his Bachelor’s degree in Business-Marketing Management and has over 25 years of experience in Agriculture and Outdoor power equipment sales. Brent is married to his wife, Cindy, and they have two daughters, Nataley and Kendal. Brent’s enjoys fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Why Magical Meadows: “I know firsthand what a positive impact it can have on the riders, including my youngest daughter. The joy, confidence, peace, and inclusion that the riders get from participating is amazing. I feel very fortunate to work with this group at Magical Meadows.”
Amy Seewald, Secretary/Treasurer
Amy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville and is currently the Insurance Manager at Miller’s Health Systems where she has been working for over 25 years.
Amy is married to her husband, Rob, and he is a United Methodist pastor at Front Porch ministries in Leesburg. They have three children – Beth, Brittany, and Anna.
Why Magical Meadows: “Magical Meadows is a big part of our lives. It is the place where my daughter learned to walk on her own and truly our home away from home.”
Barry Bylls
Barry has been married to his wife, Kathleen, for over 55 years. They have two adult children and four grandkids. Barry has an associates degree and worked for RR Donnelley for 48 years.
Why Magical Meadows: “I started at Magical Meadows as a horse walker nearly 25 years ago and have enjoyed serving on the board ever since.”

Angie Danko
A highly driven sales and marketing professional with over 25 years in the industry, Angie has proven success in management, communications, public relations, and has a true love for nonprofit work. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Management.
Angie currently resides in Warsaw, IN with her husband and two boys. In her free time she enjoys interior design, gardening, time on the lakes, and traveling to new places with her family. In addition to her corporate job, she has a creative marketing business where she loves bringing client dreams to life.
Why Magical Meadows: “Magical Meadows truly touched my heart when I heard the life-changing testimonials that brought hope and healing to people each day.”
JT Jacobson
JT graduated from Grace College in 2013 where he received bachelor’s degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration. He is currently a financial advisor with Edward Jones. JT is married to his wife, Katie, with two children.
A fun fact about JT is that he is related to Colonel Sanders and an orchid enthusiast. He also enjoys basketball, soccer, spikeball, gardening, and running.
Why Magical Meadows: “During high school, we took a class trip to a therapeutic horseback riding center. It was my first exposure to this world and it had a profound impact on me. I always knew I wanted to be able to help at a place like that one day and why I joined Magical Meadows.”
